He developed a love for basketball at a younger age and has been consistent throughout his career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after basketball players.

Lopez played two years of college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal and was selected as the 10th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the New Jersey Nets.

In the same month (March), Lopez made headlines after he was ejected following a fight in the final seconds of the Milwaukee Bucks’s win over the Sacramento Kings.
