Cory Monteith net worth-Former Canadian actor and musician, Cory Allan Michael Monteith was born on May 11, 1982.

Monteith was born in Calgary, Alberta in Canada to Ann McGregor and Joe Monteith. He shared the same parents with his older brother named Shaun.

Monteith walked out of school entirely at age 16 after attending 16 institutions, including alternative schools for troublesome teenagers.

In order to support his drug and alcohol addictions at that point, Monteith resorted to minor crimes like stealing money from friends and relatives.

When he was 19, his mother and a few of his friends organized an intervention, and he started going to a recovery center.

He eventually graduated from Victoria’s alternative high school in 2011 with his high school diploma.

Monteith held a number of occupations prior to entering show business, including that of a Walmart greeter, taxi driver, mechanic, school bus driver, roofer, and drummer for a few bands.

In Vancouver, British Columbia, Monteith started his acting career. In Whisper, Deck the Halls, and Final Destination 3 he played supporting roles.

In Kyle XY, he played a recurrent character. In television series including Smallville, Supernatural, Flash Gordon, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate SG-1, he also made cameo appearances.

He starred in the 2005 film Killer Bash, which was about a tortured nerd whose spirit had taken control of a girl’s twin body in order to exact revenge on the children of his murderer.

He played Paul for a brief time in Bloody Mary the following year. Following Maureen Webb’s recommendation that Cory enroll in acting courses, Monteith enrolled with Anthony Meindl. He played Gunnar in the MTV series Kaya in 2007.

As Finn Hudson in the Fox television series Glee, Monteith was hired in 2009. Monteith’s agent, Elena Kirschner, provided a video of him drumming with some pencils and Tupperware containers while he was being cast in Glee.
