During this time, he relocated to Los Angeles. He proceeded to join UFC in 1997 as a color commentator and interviewer. He became a comedian for some time before eventually launching the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2009. 

The 55-year-old American works as a podcaster on his popular JRE podcast where he sits to discuss current issues of philosophy, and comedy with his guests. He is also a color commentator and interviewer on UFC. He is again an actor who has starred in shows like NewsRadio and Hardball. 

He moved to New York City as a full-time comedian in 1990, where he stayed with his grandfather for the first six months. He later shifted to Los Angeles.
