Josh Jacobs is an American football running back, currently playing for the Oakland Raiders (now called Las Vegas Raiders) of the National Football League (NFL). Previously, he played college football at the University of Alabama.

The 22-years-of-age player pursued his early education at McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He then went to the University of Alabama to play college football. He has a muscular body with a weight of 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 meters) and weighs 220 lbs (100 kg).

Josh played for the Alabama Crimson Tide for three seasons from 2016 to 2018. He had 284 yards on 46 carries with one touchdown in the 2017 season.

Jacobs was selected by the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) in the first round (24th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He made his NFL debut in Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos on 10 September 2019. In the 24-16 victory, he rushed 23 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns and caught one pass for 28 yards. He had impressive stats of 1,150 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in the 2019 season.

As of the current 2020 season, Josh’s stats read at 9 touchdowns for 782 rushing yards from 11 games.

Josh signed a 4-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, worth $11,933,398 on 9 July 2019. It includes a $6,698,836 signing bonus, $11,933,398 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2,983,350.
