Maria Menounos Bio, Parents, Husband, Children, Siblings: Maria Menounos is an American journalist, television presenter, and actress born on June 8, 1978, in Medford, Massachusetts, United States.

She attended the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Somerville, Massachusetts, and continued at Medford High School in Medford.

Menounos began to compete in beauty pageants and in 1996, she won the title of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA and also competed at Miss Teen USA where she placed in the top 15 as well as the first runner-up of Miss Massachusetts USA 2000.

Menounos graduated from Boston’s Emerson College in 2000 and during her senior year at Emerson, she worked as a reporter for Channel One News traveling to El Salvador to report on the January 2001 and February 2001 earthquakes.

She also interviewed NATO aircrew members aboard an E-3 AWACS plane during the military alliance’s Operation Eagle Assist and interviewed President George W. Bush

Maria Menounos has risen through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after acts in the entertainment space. She has hosted Extra and E! News and was a TV correspondent for Today, Access Hollywood.

Menounos co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece, and also co-created and is currently CEO of the online podcast series network AfterBuzz TV.

In February 2023, she made major headlines after she revealed that she and her husband, Keven Undergaro are expecting their first child via surrogate.

Maria Menounos disclosed this when she made an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Maria said she began leaning toward surrogacy after consulting with her doctors adding that, she has been trying to have a child for a decade, and “it’s been a long time.”

In 2017, Maria and her husband’s plans to have a child were put on hold when she was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. In an interview, she revealed that she underwent a seven-hour surgery to remove the golf ball-sized tumor.

The former television host, Maria also shared that, actress Zoe Saldana and reality star, Kim Kardashian have helped her on her journey to motherhood.
