The band has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, and their music has been featured on a number of popular TV shows.

Sadly, The Script guitarist, Mark Sheehan has died at the age of 46 following a brief illness. The news of his demise was announced on Friday, April 14, 2023.

His passing was announced on the Irish band’s official Facebook page on Friday, two weeks after the group’s latest gig was announced.

Their statement said: ‘Much loved husband, father, brother, bandmate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time.’
